Biography

Francisco Javier Arteaga Alcívar, an Ecuadorian national, holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Technical University of Manabí, a Master’s degree in Agricultural Production from the National Agrarian University La Molina (Peru), and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences with a specialization in Crop Physiology from the National University of Colombia. He currently serves as a Professor and Vice Dean of Research at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at the Technical University of Manabí, where he teaches various courses on crop management. He is a member of the research group focused on crop management, nutrition, and ecophysiology. Dr. Arteaga has authored articles in high-impact journals, as well as book chapters and crop management manuals. He has presented at national and international conferences, reviewed for scientific journals, and supervised undergraduate and graduate theses.
