Within the framework of the FONTAGRO project (No. ATN/RF-19277-RG), the update seminar “Innovations in Nutritional and Reproductive Management of Cattle in the Tropics” will be held on June 19, 2025, at the SENASA San Martín auditorium (Peru). The event will bring together national and international specialists to discuss technical advances on the interaction between nutrition and reproduction in tropical livestock farming. Highlights include presentations by Dr. Felipe Carvalho da Silva (NCSU, USA) and Dr. Gelver Romero Delgado (UNALM, Peru), who will present preliminary comparative results between silvopastoral and conventional systems. The event is aimed at producers, livestock associations, and professionals linked to the livestock sector. It is organized in collaboration with the National Institute of Agrarian Innovation (INIA), with the support of SENASA and CONCYTEC, in a joint effort to strengthen sustainable livestock farming in the tropics.
