From 6 to 9 May, Workshop III of the FONTAGRO Project ‘Opportunities for carbon sequestration in soils of Latin America and the Caribbean’.
The workshop will be attended by experts from INTA Argentina, INIA Uruguay, INIA Chile, INIA Costa Rica, AGROSAVIA, UBA, DAUA and Thünen-Institut of Germany.
Open to the public for virtual participation and aimed at researchers, technicians and decision-makers.
The workshop will address the DAYCENT, CYCLES and ROTH-C models, delving into their applications, limitations and opportunities in the estimation of soil carbon in Latin American and Caribbean countries.
